1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zuri Business Communications ("Zuri", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. The Service is operated by Edgecloud Technologies Limited, a company incorporated in Kenya.

2. Description of Service

Zuri Business Communications provides a cloud-based business email and collaboration suite including professional email, shared calendars, file storage, team chat, video meetings, and administrative tools. The specific features available to you depend on the plan you have subscribed to.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Not share your login credentials with third parties
• Ensure all users added to your organisation comply with these Terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or bulk email in violation of applicable law
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Engage in phishing, fraud, or any deceptive practice
• Violate any applicable Kenyan or international law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals

5. Billing and Payment

Subscriptions are billed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) on a monthly or annual basis as selected at sign-up. We accept M-Pesa and other payment methods as made available. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Introductory pricing, where applicable, is locked in for the duration of the subscription period under which it was offered. Edgecloud Technologies Limited reserves the right to modify standard plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data, content, and information you store or transmit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant Edgecloud Technologies Limited a limited licence to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

7. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime for the Service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for interruptions resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. After termination, your data will be retained for a period of 30 days during which you may request an export, after which it will be deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Edgecloud Technologies Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
