cPanel / Hosting
Many Kenyan businesses started with email from their web hosting provider - a practical decision at the time. cPanel email works for basic sending and receiving, but it was never designed for business collaboration.
Moving from cPanel to Zuri is one of the most straightforward migrations we handle. Your email history is preserved. Your domain email addresses stay the same. Staff continue to use the same clients and devices - now connected to a proper business platform.
How the migration process works
Assessment
We review your current setup: platform, users, data, and any integrations or dependencies. No commitment required.
Planning
We produce a simple migration plan covering what will be migrated, the timeline, when the cutover happens, and what staff need to do.
Setup & Testing
We set up your Zuri environment, configure your domain, create user accounts, and run test migrations before going live.
Cutover
At the agreed time, we switch your domain's email routing to Zuri. Existing email clients reconnect automatically.
Post-Migration
We stay available for the days following cutover to resolve any issues. Staff training and onboarding are provided as part of your plan.
Questions we hear most often
"Will we lose email history?"
In most cases, no. Your historical email data can be migrated to your Zuri account. We confirm what is possible for your specific situation during the assessment phase before you commit.
"Will there be downtime?"
A well-managed migration involves a brief cutover window - typically a few hours - during which email routing is switched to Zuri. We schedule this at a low-traffic time and test thoroughly before the switch.
"Do staff need new logins and apps?"
Staff email addresses stay the same. Most staff can continue using Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or their existing mobile apps, because Zuri supports all standard protocols.
"We are not technical - can we still manage this?"
Yes. That is exactly why we provide migration support. You do not need an in-house IT team to migrate to Zuri. Our team handles the technical steps and communicates clearly throughout.
